CLASS 5 ,that's when i first saw an electric fence by the aberdare ranges .to many the real tourist attraction was the animals behind the fence but to me and my fellow village urchins we were amazed by how a thin wire would shock you.

From the moment  i gained an interest in electrical engineering with time i started realizing my dreams at the moment am a student at dedan kimathi university.
I had a disastrous first year in campus i first joined mombasa poly uni but i later transferred from there..

On my first week  at Kimathi uni i was welcomed by a strike without realizing it i was one of the demonstrators and i forgot i had to sit for a cat later in the  afternoon.
one thing about most uni students is that they dont understand the reason of a strike..
five years down the line i have realized that strikes are a good way of acheiving progress in most govt institution.whenever we striked and we went home most of the parents at home called us ''wajinga''.

One day in 2013 there was a strike and the real cause oif the strike was the death of a student who was rolled on by a university bus.many claimed that the driver was drunk.after all this the driver was roaming around the main campus without any action from the administration..now youy see the students had a reason to strike..

On going home i asked one parent what he would feel if it was his son who was crushed by the reckless driver and she said that she now felt the pain of those who were striking.

''SO MY MAIN POINT IS THAT YOU DONT JUMP ON STUDENT WHO HAVE DEMONSTRATED,
AT THE BASIS THEY ALWAYS HAVE AN HONEST REASON TO STRIKE.''

We have come a long way to campus we aren't crazy to strike .this is Kenya you have to force justice if you don't have the money.
